Washington DC Opportunity – Strategy Consultant (Associate)


BroadBranch Advisors, a strategic advisory firm based in Washington, DC, is seeking an outgoing and dynamic individual to join our team.

Ideal candidates will be recent graduates of a BA or MBA program with up to five years of business experience (internships included). BroadBranch, founded in 2005, focuses on growth and competitive strategy assignments, as well as M&A transactions. We solve strategic problems and drive new growth for our clients in a wide range of businesses. Our distinctive competency is conducting deep-dive interviews with executives and leveraging those insights to develop winning strategies.

This career opportunity fits someone who is “quick on their feet” and enjoys interfacing with a wide range of people across a virtually infinite set of business problems. Data/IT, Water and Utilities, Healthcare, Financial Services, Food and Beverage, and Industrials are just a few of the industries where we work. We are a small company, and you will be exposed to all aspects of an assignment from initial sale to final project delivery. You will be expected to learn our interviewing methods and, after training, conduct extensive interviews on your own and as part of a team. You will also play a role in client communications for our work product and new business opportunities (sales).

Our work is highly specialized and challenging – it’s not right for everyone. Accordingly, we have a recruiting process including business case analysis and other processes that evaluate your fit for this role. Annual salary is competitive and commensurate with a candidate’s experience – BroadBranch also offers a highly competitive benefits program. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to work permanently in the US. In addition, our work requires a flexible work schedule.


A strong academic background, curiosity, persistence, and an outgoing nature are essential. Teamwork and an interest in business is also important. Mandarin, Japanese, and German language skills are preferred, but not required, at this time.
