Lena is currently a senior associate at BroadBranch, having been with the firm since 2021. Lena first developed an appreciation for the art and science of finding and making sense of quantitative and qualitative data while conducting policy analysis and archival research for her dual BA degrees in Government and German Studies at Cornell University and her MA degree in European Literature at the Humboldt University of Berlin. Informed by this background, Lena approaches business problems by immersing herself in industry data, empathizing with customers and stakeholders, and connecting the dots from disparate sources of information to arrive at the most compelling answers. Her recent work has been focused on applying her quantitative data gathering and analysis skills to characterize life science and diagnostics markets and developing go-to-market strategies in industries such as pharmaceutical raw materials, bioprocessing equipment, and diagnostics consumables. She also enjoys using her fluency in German and Chinese to gain insights into foreign markets. In her spare time, Lena enjoys learning foreign languages, chasing down rare books, and traveling.
